繰 is the gesture of winding — a thread onto a spool, a page across a bound book, a sequence advancing one step at a time. The radical (thread) on the left makes the original sense literal: the right side is just the action of circling. The mini-game above plants a spool at the centre and asks you to drag in circles around it. Eight clean rotations and the kanji is yours.

Common compounds: 繰り返す (kurikaesu, to repeat), 繰り上げる (kuriageru, to advance, move up), 繰り出す (kuridasu, to send out, dispatch).
